Our October Beauty Faves

The beauty space is ever-evolving and constantly growing with new brands, popular skin-ingredients, and must try treatments its almost impossible to keep up with the latest and greatest. I have to say there are few greater joys than finding your holy-grail beauty products and when you find something you love you gotta tell everyone you know, right! Consider this my close friend’s post letting you in on what beauty products I’m absolutely obsessed with right now!

Topicals

Like Butter and Faded MIST

These two products need very little introduction- if you’re a skincare girly you’ve definitely heard of Topicals and their beloved skincare duo. Initially launching the duo in a serum formula last year, recently the brand dropped a mist option for both Faded and Like Butter. Let me tell you the mists are everything- I use the two between my thighs for a nice even coverage for treatment. I use the Faded Mist to help lighten my dark areas from constant rubbing and stretch marks. Like Butter is oh so soft and allows my thighs to gracefully glide without irritation.

Rare Beauty

Liquid Blush in JOY

Liquid LUMINIZER REFLECT

I’ve been steering away from powdered products lately, opting for liquids/creams instead.  I’ve been on cream blush for a while now but really wanted to try liquid in hopes of getting more pigment. I’m so glad I gave Rare Beauty’s selection a try because baybee I am in love! I picked up the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in the color Joy she is a pigmented peach that gives a playful flush look. The blush is the exact color I was looking for, all you need is a little dot and it spreads beautifully. I’ve also been loving The Positive Light Liquid Luminizer as my new highlight option, it gives a dewy bronzed glow- I use the color Reflect. Both formulas are lightweight and buildable- I tend to go easy on the two so I don’t overdo it, I love the natural look they give.

Natasha Deonona

Bronze Palette

The Natasha Deonona pallet is filled with vibrant cream powder mattes, shimmery pinks, and golds- the look options are endless. It’s the perfect product to finish off your holiday make-up looks. You don’t have to be a makeup guru to know how to work around this formula, they are easily blendable or stand out on their own if you are a mono-color lid girl like me. It’s one of those makeup products that you will constantly be reaching for.

Laneige

Cica Sleeping Mask

Add this to the last step of your winter skin routine today! The Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask is a heavy night cream that delivers nourishment and moisture to your skin barrier all while you get your beauty sleep. Cica Sleeping Mask goes on like silk with a velvety finish, the effect is crazy soft skin as it locks in your beauty routine.

Korres

Foaming Cream Cleanser

A cleanser that is not stripping is always the move. I honestly was not expecting to love this Korres Foaming Cream Cleanser as much as I do, someone gave it to me and I for sure will be purchasing this with my own coins once I am finished. I love how after cleansing my face feels so clean and soft as I find most foaming cleansers leave my skin feeling super dry and lacking nourishment. Not with Korres, it’s formulated with skin-loving superfood Greek Yoghurt that delivers a dose of probiotics that nourish the skin.

Caudalie

Beauty Elixir

I’m not quite sure what this product does but I honestly just love having a mist in my skincare routine. I apply Caudalie Beauty Elixir before toner and again before I moisturize. What I love most is the light astringent feel my skin gets when I apply. It drys down slightly tacky almost like a velvet matte and helps my skin to absorb the products I’m layering on. This mist is also a complexion booster my skill looks a bit brighter after use, I love this as a base and finisher to my beauty routine.
