Farewell Jean Paul Gaultier

It is with great sadness we have to say farewell to one of the best and brightest in the fashion game, but with that we also say a job well done. Jean Paul Gaultier announced his retirement on twitter last week; saying his upcoming couture show taking place January 22 will be his last.

Jean founded  his haute couture fashion label in 1982 and ever since he has been sending looks down the runway that have inspired rebellious fashion for the last 5 decades. He is best known for his edgy art like garments and being the mastermind behind Madonna’s cone bra. A true artist and visionary; for 50 years JPG’s unique take and masterful craft has been a constant source of inspiration and his genius will be missed throughout the industry. With the resurgence of 90’s fashion we are sure Gaultier’s impression on the game will be referenced for years; sealing his lasting mark on fashion.

Here's a look at some of our favorite Jean Paul Gaultier moments!
